   The festive, cosy Christmas interior of St. Michael’s, Hernhill, in the English southern county of Kent. Isn’t this a grand old church? I would like to see a Christmas programme here- you know, the ones where little children come out robed in white looking beatific and sing carols in terrified whispery voices. Except for that big-mouthed one belting it out from the back, there’s ALWAYS one of those. 
   I may **averts eyes innocently** know this from personal experience but you don’t want me to go on about THAT.
